Job Title: Estimating Administrator
Location: East Kilbride
Type: Full-Time, Office-Based

Are you an experienced administrator with a background in construction or a related sector? Do you want to join a reputable and well-established building contractor delivering projects across Scotland?

Our client, based in East Kilbride, is currently looking to appoint a full-time Estimating Administrator to support their busy Estimating Department. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a stable and dynamic team within a respected construction company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily administrative support to the Estimating Department

  • Manage shared mailboxes and general correspondence

  • Maintain and organise document filing systems

  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers

  • Complete tender review sheets and proforma documentation

  • Update Excel spreadsheets and internal databases

  • Chase outstanding quotations and enquiries

  • Perform general administrative duties as required


Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within the construction sector

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work

  • Experience using ConQuest estimating software is highly advantageous
