A well-established leading UK manufacturer of drainage products is looking for a Finance Manager to join its team based in Yaxley.Founded in 1963 and still run by the same family today the company has been a pioneering force in drainage solutions in the UK and overseas. They have a global outlook, with manufacturing presence in the UK and China, and continue to lead the way in product development and service standards.The accounts department is a fast-paced environment, as Finance Manager you will: Lead the A/P and A/R ledgers in day-to-day operations whilst offering strong line management and developmental support.Offer support to the Financial Controller to improve processes / controls. This will involve completing ad-hoc projects to improve the transparency of the business and preparing for future system implementation changes.Manage the month close process, ensuring effective cut off processes are in place and providing accurate balance sheets recs will be expected. Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures and ensuring compliance within regulatory requirements.
