Freelance Senior Site Manager – Leading Main Contractor 

Location: Windsor, Berkshire
Pay Rate: £320–£330 per day (CIS)
Project Value: £5M 
Duration: 30 Weeks

A well-established Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to work on the delivery of an industrial scheme in Windsor. 

This is a technically challenging project involving the redevelopment of a single industrial unit, incorporating a substantial cut & carve, new steel frame, foundations, internal slab, and an extension. Due to the scale and complexity, the scheme will operate very similarly to a full new build.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all site operations, ensuring delivery against programme, quality, and safety targets
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate all trades on site
• Lead structural phases including steel frame and groundworks
• Maintain high HSE standards and ensure full compliance
• Report progress and liaise with senior management

Requirements:

• Strong track record as a Senior Site Manager with a Main Contractor
• Experience delivering industrial or commercial schemes
• Proven background in cut & carve and structural works
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid (essential)
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
