This position plays a key role in supporting the finance team, contributing to the production of reliable financial reports and helping maintain efficient and compliant accounting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlinesPerform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepanciesCalculate and post accruals and prepaymentsAnalyse gross margins and overhead costs, highlighting variances where appropriateMaintain and update the fixed asset registerSupport cash flow management, including cash forecasting activitiesComplete bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash movementsPrepare and submit VAT returns in line with regulatory requirementsPrepare monthly service fee calculations and raise associated invoicesProcess supplier payments via online banking platformsHandle accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliationsAssist with the year-end audit and liaise with external auditors where requiredQualificationsACCA/CIMA Part QualifiedAAT qualification (or working towards)Personal AttributesHighly organised with strong attention to detailProactive and self-motivated approach to workStrong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the businessAdaptable and flexible in response to changing ..... full job details .....
