Assistant Health and Safety Manager

My client is a leading sub contract fabrication firm, handling turnkey Engineering services predominantly for the Pharmaceutical and FMCG markets. They have several 20+ yearlong relationships with blue chip clients for whom they oversee full cradle to grave installation and relocation projects across the UK and are now looking to hire an Assistant Health and Safety Manager to join their South west team. The ideal candidate will come from an established HandS background, will be highly familiar with CDM regulations and will hold either their IOSH or NEBOSH. Assistant Health and Safety Manager Job Overview Overseeing the day-to-Day health and safety requirementsEnsuring health and Safety compliance throughout the company using internal audits and monitoringCompleting Health and Safety workshops and introductions for new and existing staffReview supplier and sub-contractor applications and ensure supplier certification and accreditation are updated and correctTo maintain the company''s conformance to CDM regulationsManage the customer portals and accreditations ensuring they are updated accordingly, and all relevant information stored and uploaded in a timely fashion Assistant Health and Safety Manager Job Requirements Previous experience in a Health and Safety management positionIOSH or NEBOSH qualifiedCDM experience is a mustPrevious experience working in an Engineering or Manufacturing settingIT proficient, experience using Microsoft Projects would be advantageousFull ..... full job details .....
