We are looking for an experienced Engineering professional to join the planned maintenance team within our Property Services Operations function The Role: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your main function will involve the design, management and delivery of Building Services Mechanical Engineering projects, working on your own or with other professional disciplines such as architects, structural engineers, interior designers and quantity surveyors etc. Duties will also include inspection of the engineering works on site during construction through to completion on a range of our public buildings. What you''ll do: You will work across the whole diverse portfolio of public buildings including schools, corporate offices, historic buildings, libraries, country parks, museums, highway depots, activity centres, Hillier Gardens and farms, which offers a constant variety for an engineer looking to broaden their experience. In addition, the building occupiers range from tenants to critical services such as care homes and a range of internal clients. What we''re looking for: You will be suitably qualified with a mechanical engineering background (building services) and be able to evidence recent relevant experience in design of building services and maintenance; managing client relationships; owning and delivering against financial budgets; and ensuring compliance in respect of health, safety and risk management.
