Head Chef Salary: £35,000 + achievable bonus structureSchedule: 7-day operation, no evening work Overview We are seeking an experienced Head Chef with strong experience in fresh, high-volume kitchens to lead the culinary operations of a busy daytime restaurant. You''ll be joining a small, motivated, and well-supported team in a well-equipped, well-maintained kitchen that operates at a fast pace, especially during peak seasons. Key Responsibilities Take a hands-on role in delivering consistent, delicious, freshly prepared brunch and lunch dishes.Thrive under pressure and maintain control of the kitchen during peak service times.Lead, develop and support a small team, creating a calm, organised work environment.Follow established menu specifications while having full autonomy over seasonal or daily specials.Ensure all food safety standards are met, including: Level 3 Food Hygiene (training can be provided if needed)Allergen awarenessHACCPSafer Food Better Business guidelinesMaintaining a 5-star food hygiene rating About You Naturally calm, organised, and motivated, with a genuine passion for fresh, well-presented food.Experienced in prep systems, batch cooking, efficient station setup and service flow.Confident leading a small team while remaining hands-on in all aspects of kitchen operations.Committed to high standards of cleanliness, food quality, speed, and consistency.Able to work weekends and public holidays as part of a 7-day schedule.Keen to contribute to the ..... full job details .....
