Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)£ Do you have the patience, care, and dedication to help pupils overcome learning challenges£ Supply Desk is looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive schools in St Albans on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting September 2025.

This fulfilling position involves providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a variety of needs, including autism, SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health), and other additional learning needs.

Your main duties will include:
andbull; Supporting SEND pupils in classrooms and intervention sessions
andbull; Assisting with delivering individual education plans (IEPs)
andbull; Promoting independence, social skills, and confidence
andbull; Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to tailor learning approaches
andbull; Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment

Weandrsquo;re keen to hear from you if you have:
andbull; Experience with children who have SEND (desirable but not essential)
andbull; A patient, empathetic, and encouraging manner
andbull; Strong communication and teamwork abilities
