Qualified Nursery Practitioner Level 3

Location: Woodford Green, Essex

Salary: £28,000 per year

Hours: 8 hours shifts Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

A wonderful nursery in South Woodford is looking for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner level 3 to join their growing nursery team in the following roles:.

Your role as a Nursery Practitioner includes-

• Provide a positive and happy learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children’s need
• Ensure you are familiar with the key policies and procedures, especially safeguarding children, equal opportunities, behaviour management and health and safety.
• Ensure child profiles for your Key children are up to date and relevant.
• Ensure parent issues and concerns are dealt with promptly and accurately.
• Individual Learning Plans for your Key children
• Assist the Room Leader to ensure the smooth running of the room.
• To promote at all times good relations between staff members, parents and children, and promote the quality ethos of the nursery.

Requirement: for the ideal Nursery Practitioner

• Level 3 and above in Childcare & Early Years
• Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
• The ability to deliver high-quality practice.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, health & safety, safeguarding practices
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with staff and parents
• Good ICT skills
