Finance Assistant

Are you an experienced Finance Assistant with strong SAGE knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and experience within the financial services industry? We re supporting a well-established organisation in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal role supporting the Finance Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the company s financial operations. You will be joining a supportive team environment where your skills will be valued and further developed. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Finance Manager with credit control and financial reporting. Post and reconcile income accurately in the client management system. Process commission and fee reconciliations, resolving queries with colleagues as needed. Raise and issue client invoices, maintaining accurate filing and records. Support with month-end reconciliations, introducer updates, and statements. Manage accounts payable processes and maintain accurate ledger entries in SAGE. Provide accurate, timely financial support across both businesses. About You: Minimum 2 years experience in a Finance or Accounts role. Previous experience within the financial services industry is desirable. Strong working knowledge of SAGE (essential). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Confident working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
