This person will have the ambition and determination to lead a team to deliver the exiting new sport of padel to the communities of Oxford city.The facilities include five panoramic floodlit courts, changing facilities and a pavilion to provide a reception, shop and refreshments. We have recently planning approved to cover three courts with canopies and this will take place towards the end of 2025. Securing content in order to promote our services through all media channels with campaigns to drive increased footfallOversea the stock control for kit, equipment and FandB productsEnsure the facility is safe and secure and manage supplier contracts and agreementsQualificationsEither a leisure or sports management degree (Or equivalent) or commensurate industry experienceExperienceExperience of leading, managing and motivating a team delivering operations management and co-ordination in a small to medium sized organisationBackground in team sports as either a player, coach or administratorExperience of business development planning, goal setting, review process and analysing performanceStrong commercial background in revenue generation and using effective marketing techniques to drive growth whilst delivering outstanding customer serviceManaging governance via the implementation and update of relevant policies, such as safeguarding and health and safetyWorking with a senior management team, providing performance reports, working to KPI’s and implementing a ‘shared vision’ strategyKnowledgeKnowledge of NGB’s and local government strategiesDigital marekting and its implementation.
