Main duties of the job

Lliswerry Medical Centre is under new management. However, we will still be delivering the same exceptional, patient focused service and working hard to develop the practice even further. With this being our main priority, we are looking for a Salaried GP to join the patient centric practice.This role is a great opportunity for an experienced General Practitioner.Your responsibilities as a General Practitioner.The following are the core responsibilities of the General Practitioner. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levelsPerform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditionsCarry out patient consultations at home and within the surgeryMonitor patients\'' conditions and wellbeingCarry out clinical examinationsDiagnose and treat various illnesses/ailmentsCarry out minor surgery where requiredTake part in practice management and administrationLiaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teamsSo, what are we looking for in a General Practitioner?Member of the GMC RegisterExperience of working in a primary care and urgent care environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills written, verbal and particularly listeningA clear understanding of professional responsibility and accountabilityGood clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis and management of acute Primary care presentationsAbout us

As we mentioned before, our practice is under new management however, we aren\''t looking at making huge changes as we know that the surgery and its teams are held in very high regard.We are very family focused and have been serving our community for many, many years.
