The group is now launching a dedicated real estate lending platform, in partnership with a large institutional capital partner, and is leveraging the operational infrastructure of a nationally recognised home-buying business to fast-track growth.This newly formed lending arm will focus on delivering structured finance solutions to landlords, developers, and property investors – including bridging finance, portfolio BTL, and development exit products. With full access to high-volume internal property deal flow, in-house administration, and marketing support, this is a rare ground-floor opportunity in a highly resourced, startup environment.Role OverviewThe “Origination Director” will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and progressing commercial property finance transactions. This is a senior origination role suited to someone who can operate autonomously, work closely with underwriters and funders, and bring an existing network of brokers, introducers, and clients to the table.You’ll play a key role in defining the credit offering, influencing underwriting process development, and helping shape the go-to-market strategy for this new venture.Key ResponsibilitiesBridging loans (acquisition, refinance, refurbishment)Semi-commercial and development exit productsBuild deal pipeline through direct outreach, introducer relationships, and internal lead flow from the broader real estate businessQualify borrowers, structure funding solutions, and liaise with credit and underwriting teamsAssist in designing internal credit processes and helping align to institutional partner requirementsRepresent the business externally at networking events, industry conferences, and broker meetingsCollaborate with admin and marketing support to improve lead conversion and visibilityReport on pipeline performance, revenue forecasting, and lender engagementCandidate ProfileMinimum 7 years of experience in real estate finance, with a strong focus on originationTrack record of closing in commercial or bridging financeDeep understanding of BTL, bridging, and short-term lending structuresConfident working with underwriters and funders to progress complex transactionsStrong broker and introducer networkEntrepreneurial, delivery-focused, and comfortable in an agile startup environmentWhat’s on OfferBonus: Generous performance-based commission/revenue shareSupport: Admin and marketing support from Day 1 via in-house resourcesInfrastructure: Operate within a well-established national property platform with immediate market reachHow to ApplyTo express interest or request further details, please contact James and Partners Talent directly.
