Job Role: Industrial Paint SprayerLocation: Northampton Shift: Day Shifts 8am - 4:30pm Pay Rate / Salary: 15 - 17.50 P/HThe CompanyAn established Manufacturer based in Northampton The Job Role Position:Work prep and planningSurface preparationPaint mixing and applicationIn-process and final inspectionRework and continuous improvementHealth, Safety and Environment The Candidate:The ideal candidate for the job role position will have;Proven industrial spraying experience, 2-5+ years preferred. Hands-on with 2-pack epoxy and polyurethane systems and high-solids primers; confident with ratios, thinners, induction and pot-life control. Competent with air-fed spray equipment; setup of HVLP/AAA guns, pressure pots and ovens/bake cycles. Strong surface prep skills: degrease, abrasion/blast, masking, cleanliness checks. Measurement and quality: WFT/DFT control, Elcometer use, and verification with FTS shims. Ability to read specs/drawings; complete inspection records and lot traceability. Safety: COSHH awareness, isocyanates, safe use/care of RPE; fit to wear air-fed hood. Solid housekeeping, 5S mindset; dependable, detail-driven.
