Principal Designer (CDM 2015) required to join an independent construction and property consultancy that delivers Cost Management, Project Management and Specialist Consultancy services. As a Principal Designer under CDM regulations, the role will enable you to deliver both PD and CDM services on projects with values ranging from £500k to £500m plus, across a broad spectrum of construction and/or civils/infrastructure sectors. Role Ensure projects comply with CDM 2015. Develop risk responses and plans to eliminate the risks on projects. Co-ordinate and attend meetings as required throughout projects. Near miss and accident investigation where required. Review Construction Phase Plans. Prepare and produce Pre-Construction Information. Undertake site safety inspections as Client CDM Advisor. Involvement in business development, fee proposals and building client relationships. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a project team. Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation. Provide health and safety advice, guidance, training and support across the client base. Qualifications You will ideally hold or be working towards CMaPS and CMIOSH status.
