You will act as the Responsible Clinician / Consultant Psychiatrist for inpatients at the service. You will have CCT/specialist expertise in Learning Disability or Forensic psychiatry and experience of working with and leading multidisciplinary teams. As the Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in assessment, risk management, treatment planning, and timely discharge of service users, ensuring care is delivered in accordance with the Mental Health Act (MHA), relevant NICE guidance, and local and national standards. Bradley Complex Care provides a specialist service for adults living with complex needs who may have a primary diagnosis of learning disability, mental illness or personality disorder. They may be detained under the Mental Health Act. The environment is a unique element of the service at Bradley Complex Care. We provide care in a range of small, shared gender-specific or single person apartments. This allows the treatment and rehabilitation programme to be delivered in a domestic environment which replicates community living more closely.
