Warehouse Team Leader - East Yorkshire

As Warehouse Team Leader, you''ll take charge of the Goods Out team, ensuring accurate order picking, stock rotation, and seamless dispatch operations. You''ll work closely with Transport & Planning to meet daily priorities, maintain high standards of GMP, and lead your team to hit 100% OTIF targets.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment.

• Location: East Yorkshire, working for a well-established manufacturer with its own distribution centre.
• Role: Lead the Goods Out team, ensuring accurate picking, stock management, and timely dispatch.
• Team Leadership: Manage daily labour, run team briefs, monitor performance, and support training & development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Transport & Planning to align stock availability with dispatch priorities.
• Quality Focus: Ensure all orders meet product and quality standards with full traceability.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency and quality through proactive problem-solving and GMP inspections.
• Health & Safety: Promote safe working practices with a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe behaviour.
• Requirements:
  • Experienced in a Team Leader/Supervisor role in manufacturing/logistics.
  • Strong people management and communication skills.
  • Forklift licences (Counterbalance & Reach Truck).
  • IOSH/NEBOSH awareness desirable.
