Job Title: Senior Embedded Hardware EngineerLocation: Coventry (Hybrid - 2-3 days/week on-site)Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + BonusType: Permanent, Full-TimeWe''re a fast-growing technology business looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our product development team. In this hybrid role, you''ll be on-site in Coventry 2-3 days a week and play a key role in designing and developing embedded hardware systems for innovative real-world applications.Responsibilities

Lead hardware design across the full development lifecycle - from concept to productionSupport and review PCB layout, design, and bring-upDevelop hardware verification plans and test proceduresContribute to compliance activities (e.g. EMC, environmental testing)Perform circuit-level analysis (e.g. power, tolerance, reliability)Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware and mechanical engineersEssential Skills

Proven experience in digital circuit design for microcontroller-based systemsPractical knowledge of embedded firmware (C programming)Oversight of PCB layout and reviewUnderstanding of hardware interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, USBFamiliarity with design-for-manufacture/test/safety practicesStrong test and validation planning skillsDegree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldClear communicator with a proactive mindsetDesirable Skills

Experience with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi low-power devicesKnowledge of compliance processes (CE, FCC, ISED)Experience working with contract manufacturers and production testingSome analogue design knowledgeExposure to related disciplines like mechanical design, manufacturing, or factory test setupWhat We Offer
