Quality Inspector (Permanent Role) Based in Wakefield 30,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 2.30pm Job Specification: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Inspector to assess and ensure the safety and compliance of working at height access equipment across various sites in the UK. This role involves significant travel and occasional overnight stays, providing support to clients by maintaining the highest safety standards in line with current legislation and industry best practices. Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of working at height access equipment, including but not limited to scaffolds, mobile elevating work platforms, ladders, and fall protection systems. Identify defects, wear, or safety hazards, and provide detailed inspection reports with recommendations. Ensure all inspections comply with UK health and safety regulations (e.g., HSE guidelines). Advise clients on remedial actions, maintenance, and compliance requirements. Travel across the UK to carry out inspections at client sites, occasionally requiring overnight stays. Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and compliance reports. Keep up-to-date with industry standards, legislative changes, and best practices in working at height safety.
