Role: Head of Finance Location: South Yorkshire - Hybrid Working Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time Rate: 90,000 - 100,000Sellick Partnership are recruiting for an experienced Head of Finance to join a leading Charity organisation during a period of significant financial transformation.This is a key leadership role, reporting into the Finance Director, and is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, qualified accountant to lead a large finance team and deliver robust financial control, technical leadership and operational improvement across all areas of finance.Key ResponsibilitiesBe accountable for the production of audited statutory financial statements and the completion of the external auditTake overall responsibility for producing accurate and timely management accountsOversee the charity''s cash flow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliationsEnsure robust financial processes and controls are in place across transactional teams (AP, AR, Treasury, etc.)Lead the preparation and submission of VAT and Gift Aid returns, and manage treasury operationsAct as key point of contact for auditors, bankers and investment managersOversee compliance with financial, tax and regulatory requirementsProvide expert technical accounting advice to senior leadershipAct as financial lead for internal controls and fraud preventionServe as secretary to the Finance Committee and Investment Advisory GroupDrive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes and customer ..... full job details .....
