DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE (12 – MONTHS FIXED TERM)An exciting opportunity to support the visibility and position of the Petrofac brand by supporting enhancements within Petrofac’s digital communications and marketing delivery, acting as a key contributor to a best-in-class corporate digital presence.As a key member of Petrofac’s global Communications team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and external agencies on a broad range of digital communications requirements, including:Content creation and publishing

Create, curate, and publish content for corporate channels, including the website, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, employee ambassadors and paid media

Ensure all content reflects Petrofac''s editorial voice, brand guidelines, and corporate reputation priorities

Campaign delivery

Support digital campaign planning and execution, generating assets, coordinating delivery, and tracking impact

Bring editorial flair and storytelling to shape compelling content that showcases our people, projects, and purpose

Web management

Manage day-to-day web publishing and updates across Petrofac.com and associated sites

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content remains accurate, timely and relevant

Editorial calendar

Help manage the integrated editorial calendar, aligning content with corporate announcements, campaigns, and business priorities to ensure seamless integration

Coordinate inputs from across the business to keep delivery on track

Data, insights and continuous improvement

Utilise analytics tools (GA4, native social analytics, and dashboards) to track performance, provide actionable insights and recommend improvements in support of stakeholders with varying levels of digital literacy

Stay alert to new tools, formats and approaches to support the continual strengthening of our digital communications

Pilot improvements to UX, SEO and channel engagement

Employee advocacy and social engagement

Help shape and activate employee advocacy activity and subject matter experts'' presence on social media

Draft guidance, toolkits, and posts that position Petrofac as a workplace of experts and leaders

The postholder will have an indirect impact on the communications budget and will manage small budgets at the individual campaign level.

Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to tight deadlines, managing conflicting priorities in a calm and constructive manner

Willingness and ability to take initiative and challenge the status quo to drive quality solutions and improved working practices

Strong awareness of cultural nuances and audience needs

Ability to build strong rapport and long-term partnerships with SMEs and senior leaders in multiple geographies

Essential qualifications and skills

Degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related discipline

Few years of experience in a digital communications or marketing role (corporate, agency, or B2B environment)

Demonstrable experience managing social media and web platforms, with an eye for both detail and storytelling

Experience creating social media content in multiple formats, such as short-form video, photography, graphics, and live event coverage

Robust understanding of SEO, analytics tools (GA4, social dashboards), and accessibility best practice

Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for web, social and campaign content

Experience creating and publishing social media content across formats, including video, photography, graphics and live event coverage

A track record of managing and maintaining digital channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, websites) with accuracy and consistency

Ability to deliver against an integrated editorial calendar, aligning content with business priorities and campaign objectives

Skilled in gathering, interpreting and presenting data from GA4, social dashboards and other analytics tools to demonstrate impact and recommend improvements

Understanding of SEO, UX and accessibility best practices, and how these strengthen user journeys and brand reputation

Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, designers, and agency partners, balancing multiple projects and deadlines

Competence with content management systems, digital asset management and related publishing tools

Developing confidence in translating technical or complex topics into clear, engaging digital content

Desirable practical skills

Knowledge of image and video editing tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects, or Canva equivalents)

Ability to film and edit short-form video content for social media

Familiarity with paid media models (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta Ads) and basic campaign reporting

Proactive approach, able to take initiative and work under pressure when deadlines shift

Sharp attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all content

Collaborative and approachable, able to build trust with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels

Willingness to learn and develop new digital skills, tools and platforms

Awareness of the responsibilities of working within a listed business environment, including sensitivity to disclosure and reputational risk
