Fabric Engineer

Are you a skilled Fabric Technician looking for a stable Monday to Friday role in the vibrant heart of Soho, London? My client are seeking a proactive and reliable Fabric Technician to join their team, responsible for maintaining the general fabric of a retail store. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong carpentry and general maintenance skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric.
Undertake carpentry tasks (e.g., door repairs, skirting, furniture).
Plastering
Painting & decorating
Address basic plumbing issues (e.g., leaks, blockages).
Conduct general repairs and snagging.
- Supporting M&E engineers with on-site maintenance PPMs/reactives
Ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.
- Acquiring material for carrying out works.
About You:
Proven experience as a Fabric Technician or similar role.
Strong carpentry/painting skills are essential
Basic plumbing, plastering, and painting abilities.
Reliable, proactive, and a good communicator.
