An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Supply Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in South Ockendon from September 2026. This role would suit a passionate primary practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons, create a positive learning environment, and support pupils in achieving their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1, maintaining excellent classroom management, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners. Assess, monitor and record pupil progress. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils. Promote high standards of behaviour and classroom management. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members. Contribute positively to the wider life of the school. Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times. The Successful Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching within Key Stage 1. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for pupils.
