Our client, profitable, well-funded and growing at 30% YoY, is looking for a Lead Engineer to run their Web Apps team. Having found product/market fit, now is a key inflection point as they embark on a major re-engineering effort to position themselves for scale and to support the large backlog of clients ready to onboard to their platform. As an established Lead Engineer, you''ll have experience of the following: At least 10+ years commercial software engineering experience, across front and Back End tech stacks A STEM degree, with a solid understanding of software engineering/computer science fundamentals While a polyglot mindset is important, a background in a strongly typed OO language is highly valued (C#, Java), as is experience with React, JavaScript/Typescript on the Front End AWS preferably, though other public cloud experience is accepted Experience of building feature rich products that users love, while ensuring scalability, performance and security at all times Collaborating effectively with a technically astute product team Driving technical excellence across all stages of the product life cycle Coaching, mentoring ..... full job details .....
