Senior Finance Officer

Overview
London Museum is delivering the most exciting cultural project for London for a generation. An entirely new museum will open in 2026 in Smithfield and is expected to cost £437m, with significant support from the City of London Corporation and GLA in place. The Museum is raising £100m through a fundraising campaign. Finance sits at the heart of this project, enabling and advising the project. This is a newly formed role within an experienced finance and projects team. It\''s a key role supporting the financial administration of the New Museum Project. It will involve multiple activities, including Accounts Payable. As this is a new role, the successful candidate will help to shape its operations over time and there will be opportunities to develop skills due to the wide ranging nature of the role. We are looking for a team player who is hands-on and willing to get involved in and improve the day-to-day procedures and processes. The role would suit somebody from a finance background who has a keen attention to detail and is able to reconcile data from various sources to ensure the finances of the project are accurate and align with procurement schedules and internal protocols.Responsibilities
