About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.Location: Cambridge (Hybrid - 2/3 days in the Wisbech office)Key Responsibilities:Complete statutory visits for CIN (Child in Need), CP (Child Protection), and CIC (Children in Care) cases.Chair CIN and Core Group Meetings.Manage a caseload including CIN, CP, and CIC cases, some of which may involve PLO or S31 Care Proceedings.Prepare and complete Court Reports, risk assessments, and parenting assessments.Attend court with support from a Senior Practitioner or Team Manager.Participate in the Duty rota.Attend ICPC and RCPC meetings and write conference reports.Assess and manage risk effectively to safeguard children and families. Requirements:Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.Experience in Family Safeguarding and statutory social work.Strong knowledge of child protection procedures and court processes.Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
