Final Inspector - East Kilbride 27,000 - 29,000 DOEMonday - Friday Day Shift Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Final Inspection team based in East Kilbride. This role is responsible for ensuring that precision-engineered components meet stringent quality and engineering standards prior to dispatch.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform final inspection and quality control checks on machined and manufactured componentsInspect incoming materials and in-process products against engineering drawings and specificationsOperate CMM equipment and manual measuring tools, including vernier callipers, height gauges, and Go/No-Go gaugesConduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections to verify product qualityAccurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation and reportsIdentify and manage non-conforming products, ensuring appropriate rework processes are followedReport quality concerns and anomalies to the Quality ManagerSupport assembly, production and build operation when requiredSupport cleanroom cleaning and packing processes as requiredEnsure full compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standardsQualifications and SkillsMinimum of 2 years'' experience in a Quality Inspection or Final Inspection role within a manufacturing environmentProficient in the use of manual measuring instruments (e.g. vernier callipers, height gauges, surface roughness testers)Experience with CMM equipment is desirable but ..... full job details .....
