Senior Occupational Therapist (Paediatrics)Full time, PermanentTerm time only 52,042 - 59,741 per annum (inclusive of school holidays)ChigwellOur private client are seeking an Occupational Therapist to support their independent specialist day school in Chigwell on a permanent basis.The school meets the needs of pupils with a primary diagnosis of autism or with a clear evidence of being on the autism pathway.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for children and young people with complex needs, including neurodevelopmental conditions, developmental trauma, and SEN.Use clinical formulation to design and deliver individualised, evidence-based interventions that support functional independence, emotional regulation, and engagement in daily activities.Collaborate closely with education, residential, and clinical colleagues to provide joined-up, holistic support across both school and home settings.Deliver training, workshops, and consultations to education and care teams, enhancing their understanding and implementation of clinically-informed practices.Requirements:Be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPCExperience in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.Experience of supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are being provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.Have lengthy sector experience and a background in team ..... full job details .....
