SEND Teaching Assistant - Inclusion Resource & 1:1 Support

About the role
PK Education is working with a specialist primary inclusion resource in Dudley to recruit passionate SEND Teaching Assistants. This is a rewarding opportunity to support primary-and secondary aged pupils (EYFS – Upper KS2) with a wide range of additional needs, both within the dedicated resource base and in mainstream classrooms.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with profound SEND, communication and interaction difficulties, and some SEMH needs.
Assist pupils with learning, social development, and communication strategies.
Help manage challenging situations calmly and positively (some pupils may display reactive or physical behaviours).
Build strong relationships with teachers, parents, and external specialists to support inclusion and pupil progress.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in supporting SEND pupils or individuals with complex needs.
Familiar with communication and interaction difficulties and/or SEMH.
Ideally trained in TEAM TEACH (or equivalent).
Patient, resilient, and adaptable to varied and complex needs.
Passionate about supporting inclusion and making a difference to children’s lives.
