A leading FMCG food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join their expanding team. This Warehouse Manager will need proven experience in hands on Stock management / Stock control as well as outstanding leadership skills. Former experience in a small to medium Food Manufacturer / Food 3PL will be deemed advantageous Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, this Warehouse Manager will manage the distribution operations comprising warehouse and logistics of for wholesale, and the assembly and dispatch of retail across multiple selling platforms. Stock numbers and control, and people management, will be essential elements of this role. Warehouse Manager responsibilities include: Responsible for stock management and accuracy of inventory levels. Effectively manage a varied team against the agreed annual plan by formulation of granular weekly plans. Achieve and maintain elevated levels of customer service; responsible for performance to KPIs including deliver on time in full, distribution cost per tonne, stock accuracy and NCRs. Ensure efficient use of warehouse space to keep stock at optimum levels, and utilisation of 3PL warehouse during peak periods managed through effective supplier relationships. Ensure compliance to all Health, Safety, Hygiene and Environmental policies and audits.
