Level 3 Early Years Practitioner - Summer Term Contract

We are a warm and welcoming school-based nursery based in Guildford, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team for the Summer Term on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner who enjoys working as part of a supportive team and making a real difference in children''s early development.

• Supporting the learning, development, and care of children in line with the EYFS framework

• Taking on Key Person responsibilities, including overseeing a small cohort of children

• Completing observations, assessments, and relevant paperwork

• Planning and contributing to engaging, child-led activities

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and communicating effectively with parents

PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) time will be provided.

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

• Wednesday: 8:40am - 5:15pm (staff meeting day)

• Friday early finish available: 12:45pm (optional)

• Break: 45 minutes on full working days

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

• Experience working within an Early Years setting

• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

• A nurturing, proactive, and reliable approach

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A friendly, supportive nursery environment

• Opportunity to take on Key Person responsibilities

• Dedicated PPA time

• A chance to gain valuable experience within a well-established setting
