GSL Education are currently recruiting a passionate Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join warm and inclusiveEarly Years settings in Rotherham. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about supporting early childhood development and making a lasting impact on young learners’ lives.

Role Overview:
As an Early Years Practitioner, your role will involve fostering a nurturing, engaging, and secure environment where young children can grow through play and discovery. You’ll collaborate closely with fellow staff members and families to support each child’s unique development, ensuring a high standard of care and early education is consistently maintained.

Responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner:

• Assist in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum effectively.
• Encourage positive behaviour, promote independence, and support social skills development.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress with accuracy and care.
• Collaborate with team members to design and deliver engaging learning activities.
• Build and maintain strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers.

Requirements for Early Years Practitioner:

• Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Demonstrate a warm, patient, and nurturing attitude towards young children.
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding practices and the EYFS framework.

• Previous experience in a nursery or early years classroom is desirable.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and an up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained).
