The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Provide support to pupils with a wide range of needs, including ASD, SLD, PMLD, and communication difficulties. Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and the use of hoists when required. Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them access learning throughout the school day. Adapt calmly to changes in behaviour, routine, or emotional regulation. Build strong, trusting relationships that promote engagement, wellbeing, and progress.
