will include:Assist the Head Chef with creation and execution of daily specials with all FandB outletsEnsure food is cooked, prepared and the presented to the required standardMaintain the Kitchens target Gross Profit % through the effective control of food costs, wastage and portion controlEnsure daily / weekly procedures including temperature checks, food labelling/dating and storage, together with relevant HandS procedures are carried out and that records are kept up to dateOrdering of stock and ensuring stock levels are kept at agreed levels in addition to being rotated systematicallyEnsure all food purchases support the hotels environmental and sustainability ethos and credentialsCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSLevel 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificationProven experience in a busy hotelStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a teamExcellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and consistencyBENEFITSCareer paths with paid learning and development courses including apprenticeshipsAccess to your earned wages whenever you need them via Wagestream
