A newly created opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager to join a growing, privately held organisation based in Yorkshire. Working in either hybrid or remote dependant on location this is a high-impact role offering full ownership of group tax compliance and reporting, with visibility across senior stakeholders and the wider finance function.This is a commercially focused position suited to a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end corporate tax compliance process

Manage relationships with HMRC, external advisors, and auditors

Oversee tax accounting, quarterly instalments, and statutory payments

Advise on group financing, capital structure, and corporate interest restrictions

Monitor developments in RandD tax credits, investment allowances, and decarbonisation incentives

Support tax due diligence and advisory work on MandA transactions

Ensure accuracy in PAYE, VAT, and SAO compliance

Deliver tax briefings to senior leadership and the audit committee

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience/qualifications:CTA or AATII qualified with 3+ years PQE

Strong experience in UK corporate tax within a multi-entity group

Technically strong with excellent written communication skills

Commercially minded, organised, and confident working across teams

ERP and advanced Excel proficiency essential
