Working Site Supervisor Opportunity - Central London Projects - Growing Contractor
MK Search are working with a growing yet well established M&E contractor who have a strong reputation in the decarbonisation, heritage, commercial and large scale leisure construction sectors. They are looking to engage with an experienced Working Site Supervisor to join their London team in a contract/freelance posision.
This is an opportunity to get a foot in the door with one of the UK's fastest growing M&E businesses who are also financially backed by a main contractor and have a lot of exciting projects upcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and carry out commercial pipework and plumbing installations.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades.
• Ensure all work complies with current health and safety legislation and company standards
• Manage materials, tool requirements, and project timelines
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Provide technical input and guidance to junior operatives and apprentices
• Contribute to the strategic development of the commercial plumbing / pipefitting division.
• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day mechanical installation activities on-site.
• Manage direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety standards.
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Pipefitting / Plumbing.
• Experience managing site-based installations on live construction projects.
• Good understanding and knowledge of mechanical commercial systems, including HVAC.
Candidate Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 minimum (or equivalent) in Plumbing or Pipefitting
• CSCS card – Supervisor Gold preferred.
• SSSTS or SMSTS (SMSTS preferred or willing to obtain)
• Full UK driving licence
