In this role, you''ll have the exciting opportunity to provide first class software support to the business ERP/back-office systems and various integrated applications. Additionally, you''ll take the lead in scoping, designing, and implementing changes to application configurations, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives.This role will allow you as the successful Lead Application Support Analyst to dive into the role with confidence! My client will offer full training on their supported business applications, empowering you to excel from day one.You will work with a talented team on diverse projects that will expand your skill set.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Provide timely and efficient software support for the ERP/back-office system and integrated applicationsLead the scoping, design, and implementation of application configuration changes, adhering to best practices and change management processesWork closely with end-users to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutionsConduct thorough analysis of reported issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes or workaroundsAssist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new software releases, patches, and enhancementsDeliver comprehensive training and documentation to end-users to enhance their proficiency in using supported applicationsLiaise with cross-functional teams to address complex technical issues and ensure optimal application functionalityStay abreast of application updates, new features, and industry trends to inform decision-making and optimise system performanceEnsure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) by resolving incidents and requests within defined timeframesMaintain detailed documentation of support activities, including issue details, resolutions, and configurationsWe are keen to speak with Systems / Business Analysts who possess the following skill and experience:Demonstrable experience in a commercial environment, providing application support and developmentBasic accounting skills to troubleshoot financial modules within the ERP systemStrong SQL skills for database querying and data analysisProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and analysis purposesGood working knowledge of MS CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systemsValid driving license for occasional travel to other company sitesExperience in business analyst methodologies is desirableIf you''re ready to take your career to the next level and thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
