Saint-Gobain Abrasives are a worldwide leader in the manufacture and supply of abrasive products for the most demanding industries.

We have 5 openings currently as we are seeing increased demand for our innovative and high precision diamond technology products.

What you will be doing:

Our Operatives are one of our greatest assets. Their role is crucial in ensuring our customers receive their products engineered to an outstanding quality. To support our customers effectively we are looking for;

• 2 Turning / CNC Machining Operatives
• 1 Precision Grinding Operative
• 1 Machining Operative.
• 1 General maintenance Operative.

We operate a flexible working scheme at our Staverton site. Our employees work 37 hours per week typically starting at 07:30 and finishing at 15:30 Monday to Thursday with an early finish on a Friday.

What we are looking for:

A great Operative at Saint-Gobain Abrasives will put safety above all else, work well in a team and be enthusiastic about the work they do. As a quick learner, you''ll be flexible to develop in different areas of the plant, take responsibility for the work you do and always show excellent attention to detail.

Ideally you will have previous experience in a high precision manufacturing environment although we will consider applicants from other manufacturing sectors who have a passion for engineering.

Full training will be provided in operating tools and machinery as well as a full Health and Safety induction.
