Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the-UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an-Electrical Engineer-to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an-Electrical Engineer-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.

As the-Electrical Engineer,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The-Electrical Engineer,-will be responsible for:

  • Assist Contract Manager in organisation, management and co-ordination of on-site services to ensure service is maintained to the highest standard in all circumstances.
  • Ability to carry out minor surveys and inspections.
  • Simple Report writing is essential to the role.
  • Achieve contract SLA/KPI in all reactive / planned work orders across all service lines for the contract site.
  • To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
  • To learn, understand and comply with all MITIE & Client policies and procedures.
  • To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner, using point of work risk assessments where required.
  • To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • To attend and fully participate in training and the annual review / appraisal process as required.
  • To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
  • To ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and to assist in any training of the team.
  • If requested, to assist with the monitoring and supervision of subcontractors on a day to day basis, including apprentices. This to include assisting with the processing and completion of college reports if required.
  • To perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated water services equipment, including fault diagnostics and repair.

To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have:

  • Experience in 3 phase and single phase Electrical Installations & Repair, motors, pumps and some controls are desirable
  • Competent LV Electrical installation and maintenance excluding testing
  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong customer care focus
  • Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge
  • Full and Clean driving Licence
  • Ability to work at heights is advantageous
  • Smart in appearance
  • Polite, patient and good humoured
  • Able to process Administration tasks associated with the role
  • Committed to delivering quality
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Able to work as part of a Team or on their own
