Surface Dressing Supervisor Location: Cambridgeshire Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Full-Time Permanent Company Car Provided We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead surface dressing operations across the UK road network. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities - Enforce safety protocols and regulations, conduct Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and audits. Monitor PPE usage and ensure safety for the team and the public. - Support the full surface dressing process including planning, site surveys, design, risk assessments, scheduling, and project execution. - Lead a team on-site, assigning tasks, providing support, and promoting company values and staff morale. Apply HR processes where needed. - Ensure correct application techniques, material use, and surface quality to maintain durability and standards. - Coordinate machinery, materials, and equipment, and manage maintenance schedules. - Maintain strong communication with stakeholders including clients, local authorities, engineers, and members of the public. Provide progress updates and address concerns. - Ensure all works comply with surface dressing standards, regulations, and guidelines. - Understand commercial implications of operations.
