They are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their team. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with a pupil who requires tailored support, helping to deliver personalised interventions while fostering a stable, encouraging environment where they can thrive—both academically and emotionally.

• Build a strong, trusting relationship with your assigned pupil, offering calm, consistent support throughout the school day

• Create a safe, inclusive space where your pupil feels secure, understood, and motivated to engage in learning

• Support the development of key life skills—including confidence, independence, communication, and social interaction

• Work closely with teachers and SEN specialists to implement personalised learning plans and adapt activities to suit individual needs

• Track progress and provide responsive, compassionate support, helping your pupil overcome challenges and celebrate successes—big and small

• A Level 3 or 4 qualification in Learning Support (or equivalent)—with a strong foundation in SEND strategies

• Proven experience supporting children with SEND, particularly in 1:1 settings where trust and consistency are key

• A compassionate, adaptable, and pupil-focused mindset—able to tune into individual needs and respond with care and creativity

• Confidence in working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and families to ensure holistic, joined-up support

• A calm, resilient approach—ready to celebrate small wins and provide steady encouragement through emotional and behavioural challenges
