QUANTITY SURVEYOR Eastern Region / Chelmsford, Essex Hybrid Working £400 - £500 per day (Inside IR35)A major civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of framework projects across the Eastern region.The business delivers long-term infrastructure works across highways, clean water and local authority frameworks, offering a strong pipeline of secured work and a flexible approach to hybrid working.This is a hands-on commercial role suited to someone with a strong main contractor background who is confident operating within NEC environments and managing multiple live projects at once.The Role• Contract administration under NEC • Subcontractor procurement and package management • Managing subcontract accounts through to final account • Cost reporting and forecasting • Managing compensation events and commercial risk • Working closely with operational and delivery teams • Supporting framework-based project delivery across the regionWhat They re Looking For• Main contractor experience within civils or infrastructure • Strong NEC contract knowledge • Previous exposure to highways, water, utilities or local authority frameworks • Experience managing subcontractors and commercial delivery day to day • Organised, commercially aware and confident working across multiple schemes • Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsWhat s On Offer• ..... full job details .....
