The Senior Manager, Global Compensation helps shape and drive enterprise-wide rewards strategies, programs and initiatives by leading workstreams and collaborating across the broader Compensation and People Experience function. The role will be part of the Compensation CoE’s leadership team and report to the Marsh McLennan Global Compensation Leader.Serve as an enterprise-wide Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor on global reward topics spanning Marsh, Mercer, Guy Carpenter, Corporate and Oliver Wyman businesses.Lead and deliver enterprise-wide compensation strategies and programs across a broad spectrum of reward topics such as annual pay review, pay equity, pay transparency, regulatory requirements, job architecture, systems, market research and more.Drive cross-functional collaboration by consulting with CoEs and HR partners to understand and diagnose strategic compensation priorities, define reward requirements and ensure appropriate partnership, engagement and alignment on delivering solutions.Support the Marsh McLennan Compensation Leader in driving strategic initiatives and representing the CoE to cross-functional teams.Partner with the People Experience Chief of Staff and other CoE leaders to ensure seamless integration of compensation programs within broader talent and people priorities.Research industry trends and best practices in rewards, surfacing and summarizing relevant themes.Support regional and global project work related to reward programs, contributing to the achievement of project objectives.Apply a consultative skillset to reward-related topics, turning complex issues into an integrated narrative aligned with Marsh McLennan’s purpose and commitments.What you need to have
Significant experience within global/international total rewards/compensation, within a large matrixed organization, ideally financial or professional services.A consultative mindset and client-centric problem-solving approach with the ability to influence and drive change.Intellectually curious, seeking opportunities to develop new skills for themselves and others.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including the ability to present a clear executive-ready narrative.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse, senior-level stakeholders globally.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with high adaptability to different cultural contexts.What makes you stand out
