Trainee CNC Setter / Operator This position provides structured, on-the-job training for someone who is motivated to learn the skills required to become a CNC Setter/Operator, with long-term progression opportunities within the field. Who This Role May Suit Individuals at an early stage in their career Those considering an apprenticeship-style pathway without an immediate college commitment Candidates seeking a career change and practical skills development Anyone interested in building a long-term future in engineering and manufacturing Key Responsibilities Learning to set and operate CNC machine tools under supervision Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Inspecting and checking components throughout the production process Recording machine set-up information and programme details Working collaboratively to meet production requirements Adhering to all health and safety procedures Maintaining a clean and organised work environment Keeping structured training records to support ongoing development Training and Development The successful candidate will receive structured, hands-on training within a production environment. Additional external training may be provided as skills progress. This role offers a clear pathway into skilled engineering positions for the right individual.
