Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary) Sunderland £444.50 - £450.13 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)January 2026 July 2026 The School and Role A welcoming primary school in Peterlee is seeking a full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their 2-Year-Old provision. The role involves supporting children s early development through play-based learning, delivering age-appropriate activities, and providing individual or small-group support. You will help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages communication, curiosity, and independence. Experience working with 2-year-olds or within Early Years is desirable.Requirements:The desired Teaching Assistant will have; Experience of working within EYFS.Experience of working with pupils with SEND.A passion for the progress of pupils.An ability to work as part of a team.
