We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Design Manager to drive design excellence, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions that meet regulatory standards and project goals.

Responsibilities
andbull; Oversee end-to-end design processes for water and wastewater treatment projects, from concept to delivery.
andbull; Lead multidisciplinary design teams and supply chain partners, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
andbull; Implement design performance management systems, set KPIs, and utilize Earned Value Analysis (EVA) to track design progress and initiate corrective actions.
andbull; Ensure compliance with technical standards and CDM regulations, prioritizing health and safety in design.
andbull; Manage design changes, assessing impacts on scope, cost, and timeline while maintaining robust change control processes.
andbull; Oversee QA processes to ensure design documentation meets required standards.
andbull; Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to align design solutions with project execution.
andbull; Engage with clients, regulatory bodies, and contractors to secure approvals and meet specifications.
andbull; Monitor design budgets and resources, adjusting strategies to meet financial targets.

What we require from you
andbull; 8-10 years of experience in design management, focusing on water and wastewater projects/infrastructure
andbull; Bachelorandrsquo;s degree in engineering, Design Management, or related field. Chartered status or working towards will be a bonus.
andbull; Familiarity with BIM, sustainable design principles, and project management certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is advantageous.
andbull; Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex design solutions.
andbull; Expertise in, engineering disciplines, and design performance management.
