Role: Payroll and Pension Assistant Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months Location: Aylesbury Salary: 32,416 per annum Closing Date: Friday 23rd January 2026Job Purpose To undertake a timely and accurate payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and tax obligations. To comply with pension regulations and do administration for the company pension schemes Responsible for the input into the payroll system Acting as the first point of contact within the payroll team Ensuring that processes are up to date and communicated Key Accountabilities Monitoring the payroll inbox and undertaking all temporary input Acting as first point of contact for all payroll related queries Processing weekly and monthly reports Providing 1st line support to employees and managers Processing New starters, Leavers and changes in the payroll system Processing sickness, writing to employees reducing pay Overseeing maternity, paternity, and other statutory leave Completing the IRMA uploads into the payroll system, checking and resolving any exceptions Managing Childcare vouchers Processing pension changes (AVCs and AVC Extra) in iTrent and the pension portal Processing of retirements Running Business Objects reports Issuing P45s Completing payroll checking reports Managing all pension related queries Uploading the weekly and monthly files to Railpen and Sharepoint Processing salary confirmations on the pension portal Person Specification Essential Criteria Experience of working in ..... full job details .....
