The school, based in Benfleet, caters to children and young people with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, aged 3 to 19 years.Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will be to support the pupils on a 1:1 basis with their learning development and care needs while at school. Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred but not essential. Experience working within a school-based or care-based environment is critical, as you must have basic knowledge and understanding of supporting individuals with personal care.
