We are exclusively working with a market leader in the print and signage industry, one that specialises in a wide range of signage solutions—from vehicle graphics to exterior signage and bespoke interior installations. As Head of Sales, you’ll be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for leading and scaling the sales function to drive profitable, sustainable growth. You’ll create and implement sales strategies, mentor a high-performing team, and maintain strong relationships with key clients. This position reports directly to the Group Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to align campaign messaging and service delivery
Team Leadership
- Lead, manage and inspire the sales team to exceed individual and team targets
- Set clear KPIs and sales targets; monitor and support performance improvements
- Foster a high-performance culture through mentoring, coaching and team development
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Oversee large and strategic sales opportunities, ensuring a consultative approach
- Represent FPL Signs at events, presentations and high-level meetings
Performance & Insight
- Analyse sales data and generate regular reporting for senior leadership
- Make data-driven decisions to refine processes, pricing, and approach
- Track ROI on key initiatives and optimise sales funnel performance
What We’re Looking For
- 10 years’ experience in sales within the print and signage industry
- Proven track record of leading successful B2B sales teams and delivering revenue growth
- Strategic thinker with hands-on commercial acumen
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
- Deep understanding of signage solutions, vehicle graphics, and display print
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised, results-oriented, and able to work at pace in a dynamic environment
- Strong values around integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction
