Job Title: Analyst Investment Banking Building, Property and Real Estate (BPRE) (DBNumis) – London

The BPRE team at Deutsche Numis is one of the largest sectors from a UK client coverage perspective, with 24 listed corporate clients and an average market cap of £1.6 billion. As a sector team of 10 investment bankers, the Deutsche Numis BPRE team has raised £6 billion in equity for clients and advised on £7 billion of Mergers and Acquisitions (MandA) since 2017. We have strong deal flow with a project pipeline across both capital raising and MandA transactions. You will work within a high-performing sector coverage team at Deutsche Numis and have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the wider Deutsche Bank platform, including Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Industrials and Real Estate sector teams and product teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic advice to clients around equity story positioning, fundraising requirements, MandA and defence advice

Support with MandA, Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and other transaction processes within the BPRE sector, liaising with clients, internal teams, regulators and managing advisers

Develop strong technical skills including financial analysis, valuation and sector knowledge, along with risk analysis

Coordinate and produce marketing materials for target corporate clients and financial sponsors

Serve clients day-to-day, communicating clearly in meetings and emails and delivering solutions using sector, market and product knowledge

Engage with the broader Deutsche Numis and Deutsche Bank platforms to help deliver for our clients

Your Skills And Experience

Prior experience within wider Industrials or Real Estate sectors is preferable but not required

Previous relevant experience within an Investment Banking or Corporate Finance role

Technical skills in financial modelling and transactional experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities

Team-focused with a drive for excellence and strong analytical skills

Dynamic, creative, and proactive in delivering superior client outcomes
